CTO Clinic

Today’s education technology leaders need knowledge in both the technical and instructional implementation of technology in schools. CoSN and our newly created Minnesota CoSN Chapter are partnering on this one-day clinic where you will learn about and discuss issues centered on privacy and security in our schools and how these issues impact education. The CTO Clinic will feature local and national expert speakers on issues ranging from technical best practices to policies to instructing students and staff in digital citizenship. You will also hear about emerging technology trends and have the opportunity to network with colleagues in both the public and private sector. You do not have to be a current member of CoSN to attend.

Saturday: “G Suite Admin Console Technical Retreat:”

The default admin console does not come confgured for a school environment – in fact it’s quite the opposite. This one day technical retreat will begin by walking through how to migrate to G Suite and ensure you’re going down the right road for your school’s Google journey. The day continues with a deep dive into the admin console and what services and settings you really need to change for your staff and more importantly, students. We will include tips and tricks for user provisioning and management.

Sunday: Google Certified Admin Bootcamp and Exam

This intensive one day training is focused on providing all the skills and under-standing necessary to achieve the Google Certifed Administrator credential. All areas of the G Suite Admin Console as related to the exam are clearly and con-cisely covered. An extra focus is placed on the educational K-12 application and how it relates to the exam material. The day concludes with participants taking the Google Certifed Admin exam. Price includes exam fees.Google Certifed Admin Bootcamp and Exam
